New Fellowship-Trained Hand And Upper Extremity Surgeon Joining Orthopedic Associates of Port Huron

Chad Amato, M.D., fellowship-trained hand and upper extremity surgeon, is returning home to St. Clair County and joining the team of specialty-trained doctors at Orthopedic Associates of Port Huron. Starting Oct. 1, Dr. Amato will be available to see patients at the practice’s office. As a fellowship-trained hand and upper extremity surgeon, Dr. Amato has extensive expertise in diagnosing and treating injuries and conditions of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. After graduating from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Dr. Amato earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. He then completed an orthopedic surgery residency at St. Luke's University Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Dr. Amato continued to further his expertise, undergoing a hand and upper extremity surgery fellowship at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California.
