Athlete and Parent's Online Guide to Sports Medicine
The dedicated sports medicine experts at Orthopedic Associates of Port Huron take a team approach in helping athletes get back in the game quickly and safely. Serving the needs of the athletic community since 1986, we believe that education and information can assist in both the prevention and management of sports-related injuries.
It is for this reason we have developed the Athlete and Parents' Guide to Sports Medicine. This online guide to sports medicine will share more with you about sports injury treatment, prevention tips, recommendations for improving athletic performance, and new procedures and programs offered at Orthopedic Associates of Port Huron.
Working with athletes and their sports-related injuries and conditions, our sports medicine doctors integrate all aspects of specialized care by collectively combining their knowledge, experience, and expertise as the foundation of our Sports Medicine Center at Orthopedic Associates of Port Huron.
Our sports medicine surgeons, Dr. Rajesh B. Makim and Dr. Todd P. Murphy, have dedicated their practices to the specialized field of sports medicine.
With their commitment to continued education through attending courses, lecturing, writing, and actively learning the newest procedures and techniques, our surgeons are the most highly skilled sports medicine doctors in the area.
Our fellowship-trained and board-certified sports medicine specialists have extensive training in treating sports-related conditions using minimally invasive techniques and the most advanced surgical procedures.
